 Write about your blog in the description. Write about the topic on which you have created the blog as I have written. The description should not be more than 500 characters.

 Blog Language

In Blog language, choose the language in which you write your blog. If you choose the wrong language then crawlers will have trouble crawling your blog and you will get errors in the google search console. If your blog is in English then you have to select the English language.

 Adult Content

 Leave this setting off.

Google Analytics

 Property ID You do not have to write anything in it because there is no longer any analytical ID from the website of Google Analytics. Now HTML code is available from the google analytics website which you have to paste between <head> and </head> of HTML section of your blog.

Favicon 

You have to upload a square image of a size less than 100Kb in it. Basically, this is the logo of your blog which appears in the tabs. You can use fivicon.io to create a favicon.

You have to leave it ON. Its ON means that the crawlers of search engines can crawl your blog. And your blog can be shown in SERP.

 If you think that your blog address is absolutely correct then you do not need to change it. And if you want to change, then change with the same thought. You don't have to change it again and again. If you change the address of your blog frequently, then there will be a lot of problems in ranking your blog. 

Custom Domain

 If you want to use a custom domain, then you can set it from here. And if you want to work with the Blogspot domain only, then leave it like this.

Fallback Subdomain

 You can set this only if you are using a custom domain. With this, you can redirect your main domain to a subdomain. For example - if I turn it ON and set the fallback subdomain, whoever searches www.xandertech.com.ng will be redirected to the subdomain xandertech.com.ng (subdomain can be anything, like ppg or dg).

Redirect Domain

You have to turn it on because you cannot host any domain without www. If it is OFF then turn it ON.

 By the way, this default remains ON, but if it is OFF then turn it ON.

You can edit this option only when you are using a custom domain. Leave it ON. If it is OFF then turn it ON.

Reader access

You have to keep it public. By keeping it public, anyone can read your blog. Blog admins and authors If you have invited authors to write in your blog, they will appear here. And if you want to remove any author then you can remove it from here.

Pending author

invites If you have invited an author to write by email and they have not accepted it yet, then their name will appear here. Custom readers If you want that only some invited people read your blog, then you can invite them from here by email.

Pending custom reader invites

If you have invited custom readers and they have not accepted the invitation yet, then you will see their name and email here.

Posts setting

Maximum posts

 With this setting, you can decide how many posts will appear on the main page of your blog. Like I have set 8 posts on the homepage of my blog, you can set it according to your convenience.

Archive Frequency

You can edit this setting only if you have added the archive widget to your blog. Daily - Your posts will be archived in the daily list. Weekly - Your posts will be archived in the weekly list. Monthly - Your posts will be archived in the monthly list. Yearly - Your posts will be archived in the yearly list. Post template You don't need to do anything in it, let it be like that.

Image lightbox 

Turn it ON. By turning it ON, if someone clicks on an image of your blog, the image will be maximized by popping up on the screen like a lightbox. If you turn it OFF, then whoever clicks on any image of your blog, the image will open in a new tab.

Comments setting


Comment location

 Set it to embedded. That is the best. By setting it to embedded, the comment form will appear in the embed form below the post. If you set it to popup then the comment section will open as a popup form. And if you set it on a new tab then the comment section will bloom in a new tab.

Who can comment?

You set it on users with Google accounts. With this only users with a google account will be able to comment on your blog and the chances of getting spam comments will be less.

Comment moderation

Keep it set to always. By keeping it set to always, the comments of the posts will not appear in the blog until you approve them. To approve and reject comments, you have to go to the comment section of the blogger dashboard.

Email moderation request to

If you want that you get an email notification for the moderation of every single comment, then you can set up an email from here. 

Reader comment captcha

 Leave it OFF because most readers do not like captcha and it takes a lot of time to complete the captcha.

Comment form message

If you want to greet the commenters or give them any warning, then you can set it from here. For example, you can see the image.

E-mail setting


Post using email

 You can also post it via email by turning it ON. You have to set up an email on which you can email from any email address and save it in a post or draft. 

Comment notification email

If you want to get an email for every comment, then you can set email from here. Leave the rest of the settings like this if you work on the blog alone.

META tags

You have to keep the search description ON. After turning it on, you will also be able to see the option of search description in your post editor. In the search description, you have to write a paragraph of 150 characters that tell about your blog. Whenever your website is searched in the search engine, this paragraph will be shown on the search engine result page. By adding a search description to the post editor, you will be able to write a custom search description that will appear on the search engine's result page.

Enable custom robots.
